The National Primate Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has established an annual lecture to honor Robert W. Goy (1924-1999), a pioneer in Behavioral Neuroendocrinology. Past lectures were delivered by Kim Wallen, Arthur Arnold, Margaret McCarthy, Tracy Bale and Bruce McEwen. Jacques Balthazart received the Farner Medal for his lifetime research achievements in avian endocrinology on October 14, 2016 during the International Symposium on Avian Endocrinology held in Niagara on the Lake, Ontarion Canada.
